When you seek the welfare of others rather than judging them, you are God like. A less fortunate person than yourself should be the object of your love not criticism. Whether their misfortune is their own doing or lack thereof, you, who would claim the favor of God, should have nothing but compassion for them. When I was a child, my grandfather made a great impression on me. He over heard me talking about someone in a not so flattering way. His one statement left me feeling embarrassed and ashamed ? ?If you cannot say something nice about someone then say nothing at all.? A woman, with homely features, lived behind us, a street over. She never seemed to have any boyfriends or popularity since she was not pleasing to the eye. Though she was kind and considerate, the boys ma goji berry benefits de fun of her when they got together. They found great pleasure in the ridicule of this poor child, even so far as calling her names I can’t print. As crazy as it sounds, I felt more sorrow for her loneliness than I did for her ridicule. Whether a soul is a hero or not does not change the fact that in God?s eyes they are precious. Can you imagine the eternal consequence of judgmental ridicule of the least of God?s children? Boy, I wouldn?t want to be on that receiving end! I know as much as I love certain people in my life how it would affect me to hear them ridiculed. And I don?t even know the meaning of love compared to God.

First, you want to make sure you are doing this for all the right reasons, mainly: Your child actually wants to be an actor. I see a ton of parents ?pimping? their kids, and these children have no real interest in acting. This is no way to do anything, let alone deal with the harsh realities of trying to make it as an actor. Assuming your child is motivated and really wants to act, get him into an acting class as soon as possible. Do research and find a class that suits your child. Look for classes that specialize in teaching kids and that have kids that are working all the time. I would shy away from a class that tries to teach ?the Method.? It?s a bit too much for a child, in my opinion. Okay, maybe to sell your house quickly o much for most adults as well. Once your kid has his chops and has a nice monologue prepared, get him some head shots. He will need two: one for commercial and one for theatrical. (Be prepared to get new head shots at least once per year, since kids grow and change quickly.) You will need to hunt for a photographer who works with kids and does not charge much more than $325 for the two looks. Sure you can spend more?or even less?but this is about the average for a quality shoot. Once the head shots are done, and your child has a good monologue prepared, start the process of finding an agent. This is not that hard, most agents want to work with kids and most agencies have a children?s department.
